Former Receiver Mike Williams Passes Away at 36

Mike Williams, a former NFL wide receiver well-known for his stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, unfortunately died at the age of 36. 

Just last week, he was involved in a serious construction accident that left him partially paralyzed. 

Williams, a Buffalo, New York, native who made waves at Syracuse University before joining the NFL in 2010, was born. 

He excelled in his first season and played with the Buccaneers for four years before being nominated for the Pro Bowl in 2012. 

He spent one season with the Buffalo Bills in 2014 before leaving the NFL in 2017. Williams made a lasting impression through his aggressive playing style, memorable events, and charitable work. 

The NFL community was heartbroken by his passing on September 12, 2023, which prompted sincere tributes and the retirement of jerseys.
