Neymar Makes History: Breaks Pele’s Brazil goal-scoring record

On September 9, 2023, Neymar broke Pelé's Brazilian goal record against Bolivia in a World Cup qualifier. He added two goals to his total, surpassing Pelé's 77.

Raphinha helped him score his first goal in the 61st minute, and Antony's cross set him up for his second goal, which came in stoppage time.

Neymar did this in his 125th game for Brazil, passing Cristiano Ronaldo to become the second player in history to score 79 goals for his country.

The impressive record of goals Neymar has scored is a credit to both his talent and hard work.

Being among the top players in the world, he will undoubtedly continue to score goals in the years to come.
